Dito isto, continua a enunciar as fórmulas seis e sete:

Adhan: Called for prayer!

Azan is the call that announces that it is time to start the prayer. It is done in a special way and consists of inviting the Muslim community to take part in prayer, which will be for them a cause of prosperity, both in this life and in the other.Azan is a worship that precedes prayer. It is one of the main rites of Islam and one of its most obvious signs. This rite was established in the first year of the Hijrah; The Messenger (God bless him and give him peace) respected him, both day and night, both in his home life and on the road. No one has ever heard that he has ceased to attend, at least once, to this calling, or allowed one to abstain, until his death; After him his worthy companions continued to respect the Azan, because he had become a duty or something like one, since it had been ordained by the Messenger in many Traditions.

How is Azan practiced?

According to authentic Traditions, proceed as follows, saying:
1 - Allah Akbar (God is Greater) four times.
2 - Ach-hadu an la iláha illal-láh (Witness that there is no god but God) twice.
3 - Ach-hadu an-na Muhammadan rassulul-lah (Testimony that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah) twice.
4 - Haiyá'alas-salat (Come to prayer) twice.
5 - Haiyá'alal-falah (Come to salvation) twice.
6 - Allah Akbar (God is Greater), twice.
7 - La iláha illal-láh (There is no god but God), once.
Only in the Dawn Prayer does the mu-azin interspers between the fifth and sixth formulas:

As-Salátu Khairon minan-Naum (Prayer is better than sleep), twice.

That said, he continues to enunciate formulas six and seven:

When one hears this calling echoing in the air, one feels in the heart its greatness and the greatness of the Almighty and Majestic, whose Name Proclaims itself. One thinks of the good and the prosperity to which this call invites and it is known that anyone, however great, beside God, knows that God is even greater.
When one hears mu-azin, one must do it attentively and repeat what he says wholeheartedly, except when he announces formulas four and five in place of which one should say:

La Haula wala Kowata il la la Bil-lah (There is no power nor strength except in God) twice.

Let us see this Tradition of Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace), transmitted by Al-Bukhari:

"When you hear the mu-azin say: Allah Akbar (Allah is Greater) Allah Akbar, also Allah Akbar answers, Allahu Akbar, and then, when he says: Ach-hadu anlá iláha illah-lah, answer: Ach-hadu anlá iláha illal -lah; And when to say: Ach-hadu anna Muhammadan raçulullah, I repeat: Ach-hadu anna Muhammadan raçulullah; When he says: Haiyá alas-salat, dezei: The haula wala kowata illa billah; And when he says: Haiyá alal-falah, say: The haula wala kowata illa billah; When he says: Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar repeated: Allah Akbar; And then when I say: illa illa lah, I repeated: La ilaha illal-lah, from the bottom of my heart, if you do so, you will enter Paradise. "

When the echo of the mu-azin is finished, the blessings of God begged for the Prophet, he is asked to allow us to remain close to him and to repeat the prayers given by the Prophet. He is attentive to the modesty of the Prophet, whom God has absolved from all sins, past and future, when he ordered his community to pray to God for guidance to Him and Him alone, teaching them that any decision belongs exclusively to Him , Who does as he pleases best and elects as he wishes, and whether people, no matter how high their positions and their power, are but servants of the Merciful and Merciful, and need him at all times .

Abdullah Ibn Omar claimed to have heard the Messenger of Allah (bless him and give him peace), to say:

"When you hear the mu-azin, say the same thing as he, then plead for me the blessing of God, because to him who begs me to be blessed once, God will bless ten times. Then pray to God to grant me to be close to Him, for there is in Paradise a level, reserved by God for one of His servants, and I hope to be that servant. He who pleads for me to be able to stay close to God, will therefore merit my intercession in his behalf. " (Transmitted by Muslim).

The invocations, taught by the Prophet, and which are said after each call of the mu-azin, are as follows:

"O God, Lord of this perfect call and this prayer, now announced, give Muhammad honeys to draw near to you, as well as the distinction in good, and cause him to rise again in the praiseworthy place you promised him."

Then, we add:
"Grant us his intercession; You never fail the promises "

Definition of salat.

The etymology links the meaning of the word "salat" (prayer) to the act of begging, meaning, still, in the linguistic context "glorification". This is why the specific acts of veneration of "salat" are called, because they consist in the glorification of God, exalted and praised.
When Islam established prayer and this was explained by the Messenger of Mercy, then by his companions, then by those who succeeded them, and finally by all the doctors of the religion, that word was agreed upon to designate it.
Prayer is, therefore, the worship and glorification of God, based on words and related acts. It is initiated by a praise: "God is Greater" (Allah akbar), and closed with a salvation: "May the peace and mercy of God be with you" (Assalamu alaikum wa ra'hmatullah). It follows an orderly and pre-established system, defined by the Islamic religion, under whose light and guidance all Muslims walk.
Therefore, the words still retain their original senses, supplication and glorification.
Its meaning, when we pronounce it in the profession of faith (At-tachahud), when saying, among other things, that "prayers are to God" is that only glorify Him, which are not suited to anyone else. When we say, by invoking blessing and peace for the Prophet "O God, bless Muhammad!", This means that we ask that he be glorified in this world, with the exaltation of his memory, and with the preservation of his message and the His laws (shari'a), and that, in the other world, he may be allowed to intercede for his nation and to multiply his reward.
God, the Most High and the Glorified, commanded us to ask the blessing of His elect and Prophet, and having been able to attain the degree he imposes for it, we appeal to Him, pleading: "Our God! Bless Muhammad, because You know better than anyone what is right for him (God bless him and give him peace). " The prayer of God for the Prophet and His mercy, that of the angels, is a supplication of absolution and the one who comes from us, human, is supplication and glorification. God the Most High said:
"Verily, Allah and His angels bless the Prophet. O believers bless him and salute him, reverently! "(33rd Surah, verse 56)
Islam, prayer (also called 'salat' or 'prayer') is the most important act, one of the five pillars. Prayers are a direct link with God. There is no hierarchical authority in Islam as fathers, pastors, rabbis, etc. If there is more than one Muslim at the time of prayer, prayer should be addressed by those who know the basics of religion best and recite the Qur'an. For Prophet Muhammad said:
"The mercy of God is above the Muslims who gather together for God's sake."
It is therefore recommended to practice group prayer if there is more than one Muslim. For Muslims it is better to do the prayers at home, for Prophet Muhammad said:
"The prayer a Muslim practices in her home is equivalent to the prayer of a Muslim praying in the mosque in a group."
Although it is preferable, it is not obligatory to practice prayers following someone or in a mosque, it can be done alone and in any place of the earth since it is cleaned, because the Prophet Muhammad said:
"The Earth, for Muslims, is a mosque (a place of prayer)."
In these five daily prayers verses of the Quran are recited in the language of Revelation (in Arabic). But personal supplications can be made in one's own language.
Some hadiths of the Messenger of Allah on prayer (hadith or hadith are the words of Prophet Muhammad):
"The first thing that man will have to give account of, on the Last Day of Judgment, will be prayer."
"What would you think if there were a stream in front of someone's door, and that person bathed five times a day?" "Would you be so upset?" And they said, "Certainly not!" He said, "This is the case with the five prayers , By which God removes all your sins from you. "

And on whom is the obligation to pray?

Prayer is an individual precept of which the Muslim publicly and wisely is entrusted, whether man or woman; It is up to the one to whom the message of Muhammad (God bless him and give him peace), who is capable of practicing it and who is sanitized.
The child is commanded to practice it from the age of seven, so that it grows under the aegis of his love and becomes habitable. At the age of ten, even if your father, guardian or educator ordered it, you refuse to do it, you are punished.
There are several verses from the Qur'an concerning prayer:

"Prayer is an obligation, prescribed to believers to be fulfilled in due time." (4th Surah, verse 103)

"Recommend your prayer to be constant, you, too." (20th Surah, verse 132)

"Observe the prayer, pay Zakat is genuflecti, along with those who genuflectem". (2nd Surah, verse 43)

Many Traditions came to emphasize the importance and the obligatoriness of the prayer and to indicate the way of doing, like the punishments, for those they do not observe it.

Deus! O Absoluto! Jamais gerou ou foi gerado! E nada é comparável a Ele!”

Disseram: Escutamos e obedecemos. Só anelamos Tua indulgência, ó Senhor nosso! A Ti será o retorno!”

5 – A crença no Dia do Juízo Final

Tal é o decreto do Onisciente, Poderosíssimo.

The 6 pillars of faith are the fundamental pillars of Islamic belief. Unlike the five pillars of Islam (the practice of which is obligatory for every Muslim), the 6 pillars of the Islamic faith are the basis of belief and the Muslim who does not believe in them is no longer believing in Islam.

1 - Belief in God - Faith in One God (Tauhid) (the oneness of God).

Of course the first pillar is belief in the Almighty. Believing in God above all else is the first and most important. And it is not just belief in God alone, but in the way He is described through the Qur'an and the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad.
The belief in the tauhid is the master column of the Islamic Faith. It is divided into three parts, the first is the tauhid ar-rububia (uniqueness of the Creator) which means to believe that God created, maintains, and is the Lord of all and of all; The second is tauhid al-Uluhia (uniqueness of the deity), which expresses that God is the One to whom we should worship and to whom we should address our supplications, without there being intermediaries between men and Him; And the third is the tauhid al-Asmaaa Sifat (uniqueness of the names and attributes of God), which means that to God belong all the names and attributes of perfection, so we must submit ourselves totally to Him. God says the Most High :

"Say: He is God the One! God! The Absolute! Never begotten or begotten! And nothing is comparable to Him! "(Quran 112)

This belief represents man's liberation letter in relation to all sorts of humiliation, for he understands that the only superiority that exists is to God and that consequently all creatures are equal, so he will not let humiliated by anyone and will not lower The head to anyone except to the Creator.
A) Tauhid Rububiia - The belief in divine sovereignty. Believe that God is the Creator, Sustainer and Sovereign of all that refers to creation, as well as the One who decides his destiny.
B) Tauhid Uluhiia - The belief in the divinity of God; That is, to believe that God is the One to be worshiped, and all that is worshiped besides Him is false.
C) Tauhid Assifat -The belief in the names and attributes of God, and that they are complete and perfect, and such names must be corroborated by the Qur'an, or by the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) .

2 - Belief in His Angels

The second pillar of the iman is belief in the angels of God. Angels are messengers of God. They are not your children as some may think. They were created from the light and were created, before the human being, for the purpose of worshiping God. They may also appear in the form of a man if so ordered to do so.
Being God invisible to physical perception, it was necessary to have some means of contact between man and Him; Otherwise it would not be possible to follow the divine will. God is the Creator, not only of our bodies, but of all our faculties, which are diverse, and each capable of a certain evolution. It was He who possessed intuition, moral conscience, and means that we use to guide us on the right path. The highest level of contact, the most sure and infallible means of communication between man and his Creator, is called, by 'Wahi', by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The true Muslim believes in the Angels of God, these are splendid beings and purely spiritual, whose nature does not need food, drink or sleep. They spend the day and night in the service of God, they are numerous, and each of them has his office and a certain duty, if we can not see the Angels with the naked eye, it does not deny their existence and their reality. Belief in the Angels derives from the Islamic principle that "knowledge and truth are not limited to sensory knowledge or sensory perception alone."
According to the Qur'an, the heavenly messenger who brought the revelations to Prophet Muhammad (may the Peace and Blessing of God be upon him) is called Gabriel (Jibril). The Prophet Muhammad forbade Muslims to worship the angels or associate them with God in His divinity, and at the same time informed us that they are considered to be God's creatures.

3- Faith in Sacred Books

The terran pillar of the iman is belief in the books of God. It is the belief that by the time these books were sent to Earth they really were a message from God. The only remaining book in its entirety is the Qur'an, because it is the last revelation of God for mankind. There are four books known to man that are the Torah sent together with the Prophet Musa (Moses), the Psalms (Zaboor) sent together with the Prophet Dawud (David), the Gospel (Injeel) sent with the Prophet Isa ) And the Koran sent with the Prophet Muhammad. We as Muslims must believe in all these books and not just the Quran. But like the adulteration of the previous books, only the Koran should be a source of religious knowledge in the present times.
God revealed the Books to his Prophets before Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and these Books were sent to Earth just as He sent the Qur'an to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). God be upon him). We have been informed of the names of some of these books, for example, Abraham's Books, Moses 'Torah, David's Psalms, and Jesus' Gospel (peace be upon them). We were not informed of the names of the Books that were revealed to other Prophets, thus, looking at other existing Religious Books, we are not in a position to say, correctly whether they are the ones that have been revealed or not. But we tacitly believe that all the Books that were sent to Earth by God are all true. Of the Books just mentioned, the Books of Abraham have disappeared, and there are no vestiges of them in the existing world literature, the Psalms of David, the Torah and the Gospel, meet with the Jews and the Christians.
We believe in previously revealed books, only in the sense of admitting that before the Qur'an, God sent other Books through His Prophets, which were all of one God, of the same God who sent the Qur'an which, as the Divine Book, is not a New or strange event, but only confirms, restores and completes God's instructions. The Qur'an is the last of the Divine Books sent by God to all mankind, and there are some pertinent differences between the Qur'an and previous Books. The formula of the creed enunciated by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) speaks of these books, not referring only to the book, which would mean the Qur'an. This tolerance is characteristic in his teachings. The Qur'an alludes to it in various parts. For example:

"The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to his Lord and all believers believe in God, in His angels, in His books and in His messengers. We make no distinction between His messengers. They said: We listen and obey. We only yearn for Your indulgence, O our Lord! To You will be the return! "(Quran 2: 285)

"There were no people who had not had a warner." (Quran 35:24)

"Before you, we had sent messengers; The history of some of them we have told you, and there are those of whom we have revealed nothing unto you. "(Quran 40:78)

The Qur'an quotes the names and recognizes the Books of Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus (Peace be upon them), as the Books revealed by God. Be that as it may; This is a dogma for Muslims to believe not only in the Qur'an but also in the original collections of Divine revelations of pre-Islamic times. The Qur'an is the word of God revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), from the Surah of openness to the Surah of Humans, constituting the last of the Books revealed to mankind by God.

"O mankind, a convincing proof from your Lord has come to you and sent you a translucent Light." (Quran 4: 174)

"Remind them of the day when we will bring a witness from every people to testify against their own, and we will present you a witness against your own. We have thus revealed to you the Book which is an explanation of everything, is a guide, mercy and auspice for the Muslims. "(Quran 16:89)

"A Light and a Lucid Book have already come to you from God." (Quran 5:15)
"Do you not meditate on the Qur'an? If it were of a different origin from God, there would be many discrepancies in it. "(Quran 4:82)

"This is the Book (the Qur'an) true to excellence. Falsehood does not approach him or the front, nor does he go behind, for it is the revelation of the Wise, Most High. "(Quran 41: 41-42).

4 - Faith in the Prophets and Messengers of God

He believes in all the Prophets of God without distinction between them, such Messengers were notable propagators of good and examples to be followed. Each of them was chosen by God to teach and transmit to humanity His Message. The Holy Quran mentions 25 names of such messengers, Adam, Enoch, Noah, Heber, Saleh, Abraham, Ishmael, Lot, Isaac, and many others. Jesus, the Messiah, and the seal of the prophets, the last of the Messengers sent by God to mankind. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them), all Muslims believe in all of them and accept them as Messengers and Prophets of God.
These were known as national or local messengers, with the exception of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), which was sent to all mankind. The Messengers charged with guiding humanity on the good path of God, without exception, were mortal, human beings, gifted to receive divine revelations and chosen by God to carry out certain tasks. Among them, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), appears as the last Messenger and supreme glory of all the Prophets. This is not an arbitrary attitude, nor merely a belief of convenience, like all other Islamic beliefs, is an authentic and logical truth. Some of the great Messengers are quoted in the following verses of the Qur'an:

"Say: We believe in God, it is not revealed to us in that which was revealed to Abraham, to Ishmael, to Isaac, to Jacob, and to the tribes; In what was given to Moses and Jesus and in what was given to the prophets by their Lord; We make no distinction between them, and submit ourselves to Him. "(Quran 2: 136)

"We inspire you, as we inspired Noah and the prophets who succeeded him; So we also inspired Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the tribes, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, Solomon, and granted the Psalms to David. And we have sent some Messengers, which we have mentioned to you, and others which we have not mentioned; And God spoke directly to Moses.
They were messengers of light and warfare, so that the humans had no argument before God after sending them, for Allah is Mighty Wise. "(Quran 4: 165)

"We bestowed it upon Isaac and Jacob, which we lightened, as we had previously illuminated Noah and his descendants, David and Solomon, Job and Joseph, Moses and Aaron. So we rewarded the benefactors. And Zechariah, John, Jesus, and Elijah, for they were all among the righteous. And Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah, and Lot, each of whom we preferred over his contemporaries. Parents, and brethren, elect them and lead them in the straight path. "(Quran 6: 84-87)

"Believers, believe in God, in His Messenger, in the Book that He revealed to you, and in the Book that had been revealed previously. Verily, he who turns away from God, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Day of Judgment, will go astray "(Quran 4: 136).

5 - Belief in the Day of Judgment

The fifth pillar of faith is belief in the Day of Judgment. This is the Day when we will all be responsible for all our actions; Good or bad, big or small. In our lives, we need to believe that everything we do will have an influence on the Day of Judgment. No one, but God knows when that day will come, so it's up to us to live each day as if it were our last.

6 - Belief in Al-Qadar (Predestination)

The last pillar of the iman is the belief in predestination. What this means is that everything in our lives is already written. It is our duty to know that whatever God wants will happen. Also that He is the creator of everything, including our deeds. God knows our past, present and future. Our lives are defined, but that does not mean that we should not strive toward perfection, after all, God knows everything that will happen to us but we do not know and the day to day choices are made by us.
Some people think that their works will not be recorded to them, and that time will take care of putting them out. We, however, have the conviction that there is no record as perfect as the record of God to the works of man and his judgment, human works are many and varied.
Muslims believe that God gave human beings free will. This means that they can choose right or wrong, and that they are responsible for their choices. Belief in Divine Predestination includes belief in four things:
  1) God knows everything. He knows what happened and what will happen.
  2) God has recorded everything that has happened and everything that will happen.
  3) Whatever God desires to happen happens, and whatever He does not want to happen does not happen.
  4) God is the Creator of everything.

Concept of Predestination:

The concept of predestination is mentioned many times in the Qur'an, in all contexts, it designates the unchanging law that governs the phenomena of the Universe. Everything takes place according to the laws pre-established by the Creator, whether in the cosmos as a whole or among humans in particular.
"And there is nothing whose origins are not in Our power, and we do not send it but proportionately." (Quran 15:49)
An Nawawi thus defines this concept: "God the Most High predestined all things, and knows beforehand that events would occur at certain times and in certain forms. Everything happens according to what He has determined. "

Articles of Faith:
In authentic traditions, Prophet Muhammad states that faith in predestination is a fundamental part of Islamic belief, and its meaning is that God created laws and phenomena to govern the universe, And things happen according to these laws and these phenomena.

"A sign to them is the barren land; Revive it and produce in it the grain with which they feed. In it we produce orchards of date-palms and vines, in which spring springs, to feed on their fruit, which their hands could not do. Did not they thank you? Glorified be He Who created pairs of all kinds, both in what the earth produces, and of themselves (human beings), and even more of things which they ignore. And the night is also a sign to them, from whom we have withdrawn the day, and have plunged them into darkness! And the sun, which runs its course for a predetermined period. Such is the decree of the All-Knowing, Most Powerful. And the moon, whose course, we signal in stages until it presents itself as a dry branch of a date palm. It is not given to the sun to reach the moon, nor the night to surpass the day; Each one turns in its orbit. "(Quran 36: 33-40)

The concept of predestination does not carry within itself the connotation that man is not responsible for his acts; Many people may think that the concept of predestination carries within itself the connotation that God forced his creatures to submit to His decisions and gave them no choice. And the truth has nothing to do with it, what the concept of predestination tells us is that God knows in advance the work of his servant, and that it occurs according to His laws.

The Reason for Belief in Predestination:
The belief in predestination frees man's potential in discovering the laws that govern the universe and uses them in his service, and in placing the treasures of the earth to his benefit. By this faith in predestination is a driving force in the direction of positive work, and at the same time, it is a belief that keeps the human being in contact as his Creator.
The belief in predestination teaches man that everything that occurs in the universe happens according to wise laws; If any harm strikes him, he must not despair, and if he succeeds, he should not be proud. When the human being gets rid of despair, in the hour of failure and pride in the hour of success, he becomes a complete, balanced being, and reaches the highest level of elevation and virtue. And this is the meaning of the following verse from the Qur'an:
"It shall not afflict any misfortune, whether it be to the earth or to your persons, which is not recorded in the Book, before we even realize it. This is easy to God. So that you may not despair of what you fail to achieve and do not take pride in what God has given you, and God does not appreciate arrogant and boastful. "(Quran 57: 22-23)

The concept of predestination should not be a reason to justify laziness and the practice of sins, or reason to say that God deprived man of freedom and gave him no choice.
